Renesas Electronics Europe, a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, announced the availability of certification packages for the Renesas Synergy S7G2, S5D9, and S3A7 microcontroller (MCU) Groups. The certification packages offer seamless integration into safety applications and reduce system development time by up to six months while minimising risk for the customer’s system certification process.

IAR Systems®, provider of embedded development tools, and Renesas Electronics Corp., a supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, have integrated the development tool chain IAR Embedded Workbench® within the Renesas Synergy™ Platform as “EWARM-RS”.

Renesas Electronics has announced new developments for the Renesas Synergy™ Platform. These include the commercial release of the Renesas Synergy Software Package (SSP) version 1.0.0, mass production availability of the S7G2 Renesas Synergy Microcontrollers (MCUs), and availability of the first Verified Software Add-on (VSA) software from VSA Program partners.
