NoTraffic, the IoT Platform for Urban Mobility, has announced its expansion into Canada, teaming-up with Rogers Communications to offer Urban Mobility solutions to Canadian traffic agencies. The deployment of NoTraffic was in Vancouver across multiple locations (intersections and roundabouts), working with Rogers and The University of British Columbia (UBC), to improve road coordination, safety and traffic equity.

Rogers Communications is to provide M2M wireless connectivity across the province of Quebec in Canada to Hydro-Quebec. Rogers will connect Hydro-Quebec’s central system with up to 600 collectors, which aggregate data relayed from the province’s 3.8 million smart meters.
