Deutsche Telekom and Software AG have announced a strategic partnership to deliver IoT services on a global scale. Deutsche Telekom and its enterprise customer unit T-Systems will expand their Cloud of Things offering, using Software AG’s Cumulocity IoT platform.

Software AG has announced that Bernd Gross is assuming the position of chief technology officer  (CTO) reporting to the CEO, effective immediately.

Software AG announced the selection of its Cumulocity IoT by The Nordex Group, a global manufacturer of innovative onshore wind turbines. The Nordex Group manages clean-energy wind farms based on sensor data.

The Supervisory Board of Software AG has appointed John Schweitzer, 50, as the new chief customer officer (CCO) and member of the executive board of the company. The appointment take effect on November 1st, 2018.

Software AG announced an extended partnership with Dell Technologies in which the company will bundle Software AG’s Cumulocity IoT Edge with a selection of Dell’s servers.
