As natural beauty spots across Scotland have seen an unprecedented surge in visitors amid the pandemic, the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) is working with North, the UK’s IoT service and solutions provider, to accrue and access data that will help manage surges of tourism in a sustainable way.

The National Robotarium, hosted by Heriot-Watt University, is pioneering intelligent sensing and tele-presence robotic technology to allow health practitioners to remotely assess a person’s physical and cognitive health from anywhere in the world.

Construction has started on a research facility for robotics and artificial intelligence, which will be the advanced of its type in the UK.
