Atmos Home, developer of AtmosControl, is claiming to offer “the world’s most intelligent smart home control system”. It has closed on a US$1 million (€0.88 million) seed round from Luminance Brands, a designer and distributor of high-end lighting solutions to the commercial and residential markets.

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Silver Spring Networks, Inc. have announced a partnership to develop a networked LED street lights solution, helping to cut costs and simplify connected lighting componentry for luminaire manufacturers.
