IoT-enabled energy management systems and devices help households and businesses reduce spending with smart metering and usage monitoring. Commercial buildings and homes can transition to green energy solutions using IoT-enabled devices that are connected to the smart grid. Energy management solutions help predict power consumption and spending.

Fire Safety
IoT can be very effective in detecting and fighting fires. IoT-enabled heatproof sensors can monitor electrical systems by identifying heat sources and alert technicians and authorities in the case of fire or potential hazards. IoT can also track and monitor fire fighting equipment.
