Energy management company Navetas has been awarded a contract by British Gas to help roll out a new initiative that will enable households within a Plugged in Places region to understand how much energy their electric vehicle consumes.

Ipswich, UK – Wednesday 4th April 2012: Navetas Energy Management has secured £5m in strategic investment from Sensus, a leading utility infrastructure company offering smart meters and communication systems for the electric, gas and water industries. The investment deal will see Sensus acquire a 15% stake in Navetas and an exclusive licence agreement for Navetas

At Metering Europe 2011, Navetas Energy Management will showcase its energy disaggregation technology. The technology can transform smart meters into intelligent energy measurement and management systems in homes or businesses, by accurately tracking energy consumption at an appliance-level, from a single point.
