Nokia reports new added value features and digital automation enablers for its Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (DAC) private wireless networking platform.

According to a new research report from the IoT analyst firm Berg Insight, the total active installed base of connected mining solutions reached almost 0.6 million units in the equipment, people and environment segments in 2018.

Continuing its focus on Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for the mining industry, Sandvik has agreed with Nokia to further develop Sandvik solutions for private LTE (Long Term Evolution) and 5G technologies.

The IoT Tech Expo Internet of Things (IoT) conference and exhibition further extends its speaker line-up for the upcoming event in Berlin, Germany on June 13-14.
