Breed Reply launches sixth ‘Best in Breed’ search for IoT start-ups and reports best of last search

Breed Reply, Reply Group’s IoT investor which funds and provides operational support to early stage companies in the Internet of Things (IoT) space, is launching a new search for early stage IoT investment opportunities, ‘Best in Breed 6’. Companies that submit the strongest applications will be invited to pitch their investment cases with the selected ones receiving funding along with advisory and support services from Breed Reply.

At the same time, Breed Reply is pleased to announce the successful Best in Breed 5 companies – Canard Drones and Wearable Technologies.

Canard Drones is a Spanish developer of UAV-based visual inspection solutions for airport systems. Jorge Gomez (CEO) said “Our breakthrough technology is gaining momentum, as recognised by fifteen innovation awards in under a year and the interest shown by many airports.

Canard is looking forward to benefiting from Breed Reply´s extensive business network, technology acumen, and funding capabilities to accelerate our time to market and expand our geographical footprint as we bring a high potential technology to market”.

Wearable Technologies is a British company developing a platform of networked safety garments for those working in industrial environments. Mark Bernstein (CEO) said “Breed Reply’s support, both in terms of financial investment and operational expertise, will be invaluable in helping Wearable Technologies reach the next stage of development as we look to bring to the wider industrial market our platform of connected garments which help improve health and safety”.

These latest investments by Breed Reply extend its portfolio of innovative IoT businesses into the sectors of aviation and smart garments.

Companies with an innovative product or service in the IoT space are invited to submit an application to Best in Breed 6 via Breed Reply website. The closing date for submissions is 30 March 2017.
