Cinterion and Numerex team up to expand the M2M market in North America

Cinterion, part of Gemalto, and Numerex have announced their partnership to distribute and integrate Cinterion modules across all M2M markets, enabling customers to implement securely and rapidly M2M applications.

Cinterion offers a full range of M2M security products covering wireless communication modules, machine identification modules (MIM), value-added software applications and remote management services. The agreement combines Cinterion’s portfolio of wireless communications modules with Numerex’s DNA (device, network and application) service model for its range of integrated services.

Numerex claims to be the first M2M service provider in North America to be ISO 27001 certified for information security, protecting data confidentiality and integrity and safeguarding against security threats. Both companies are market leaders in their respective fields and share a commitment to providing reliable and secure data communications.
