London, UK. 6 October, 2011 – ChangeBASE, specialists in automated application compatibility testing, remediation and conversion, have appointed a new director of sales in Europe’s German-speaking territories.

Frank Sattler (pictured here) joins ChangeBASE with a history of taking entrepreneurial businesses and turning them into success stories in Central Europe. At ChangeBASE, Sattler will oversee the channel in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). He will manage a significant expansion of this channel, recruiting partners to meet the level of demand for ChangeBASE AOK that the company is now seeing.

Martin Brown, VP of Worldwide Sales for ChangeBASE comments: “We are seeing great traction in the DACH market, and with a new dedicated sales resource we expect to see this market grow significantly. Germany is the largest IT market in Europe, with a high adoption rate of Windows 7 and virtual environments and ChangeBASE is ideally positioned to bring real value to customers making these transitions. We expect to see immediate expansion in our German reseller base, and Frank has a great track record of building strong partner relationships, creating a solid foundation for growth. We are delighted to have Frank on board.”

Prior to joining ChangeBASE, Sattler established a presence in the DACH region for several software companies which involved not only business and channel development but also the acquisition of new customers across industries including financial services, pharmaceutical and other vertical markets. Other companies where Sattler has held senior sales positions include Xiopia GmbH and Computer 2000.

Sattler says: “German IT departments are very technical; they test everything to make sure it is really secure and more importantly that it works. AOK offers a great opportunity for companies to ensure high quality and consistent results as they migrate to new operating systems and environments. There are numerous open migration projects in Germany where AOK can offer dramatic time and cost savings to organisations.

With offices in Munich, ChangeBASE is said to be 100% channel-focused in the DACH region and already has a strong presence in Germany. The company plans to appoint an additional 10 new partners in Germany with additional resellers in Austria and Switzerland.
