By providing the large Salesforce1 app-developer community a simple means of connecting new applications to the Internet of Things, the partnership is expected to spur its adoption by the global Salesforce1 community and create a large catalogue of IoT apps available from saleforce.com’s AppExchange.

As a salesforce.com Platinum Partner, Kerensen helps clients tailor the Salesforce1 Platform for their specific needs with a variety of cloud-based applications that increase operational efficiency and customer service.

The SIGFOX-Kerensen solution is based on SIGFOX’s two-way IoT-connectivity platform and a “smart connector” developed by Kerensen’s technological solutions center in Tel Aviv, Israel, that connects Salesforce1 applications to SIGFOX’s global network. It allows users to manage data sent or received by the connected objects on the network with any computer or mobile device.

The Kerensen Smart Connector for SIGFOX will be demonstrated during Dreamforce in San Francisco, Calif., USA, Oct. 13-16, and will be made available on salesforce.com’s AppExchange.

“The smart connector developed by Kerensen within the SIGFOX ReadyTM  certification program simplifies access to the Internet of Thins for the large Salesforce1 community,” said Stuart Lodge, SIGFOX’s executive vice president of global sales.  “This partnership makes it easy and quick for developers to create value-add apps based on data from devices connected to SIGFOX’s global IOT network.  We expect that it will help make salesforce.com’s AppExchange one of the key IoT application catalogues on the market.”

“I am delighted about the successful collaboration between our team in Israel and SIGFOX’s team in Labège,” said Alain Attias, partner and CEO Kerensen Consulting. “Our new Kerensen Smart Connector for SIGFOX will help make the world of connected objects more accessible for businesses that use Salesforce1 and the SIGFOX network, giving them a competitive advantage. The applications for the IoT with SIGFOX and salesforce.com are limitless.”

The enhanced services will be available to Kerensen’s customers in France, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and other locations served by the SIGFOX network beginning Oct. 13.
