Conrad introduces FLIR’s TG165 infra-red imaging thermometer that simplifies and speeds the discovery and recording of temperature issues

TG-165

Conrad Business Supplies has announced that it is now able to offer its customers the latest infra-red (IR) imaging thermometer from FLIR. The FLIR TG 165 bridges the gap between single spot, digital readout IR thermometers and thermal cameras.

It allows users to discover temperature issues quickly, clearly and accurately and is suited to applications such as electrical troubleshooting, mechanical overheating and refrigeration issues in a wide range of operating environments.

The light yet rugged FLIR TG 165 is intuitive and easy-to-use requiring no formal training; it has a measurement temperature range of -25 °C to +380 °C. The combination of dual lasers to frame the target and a 2.0 in TFT LCD to display the thermal images supports fast, accurate inspection. A 24:1 spot ratio allows operators to work at a safer and more convenient distance versus competing products. Screen images and temperatures can be captured, saved and later downloaded from the on-board micro-SD card or over a USB connection to enable documentation of evidence and the creation of reports.

The TG165 complements the existing range of more than 60 FLIR test and measurement products and accessories offered by Conrad Business Supplies.

Commenting on the addition of the new TG165 to the Conrad portfolio, Thomas Pilhofer, Product Manager, Category Business Supplies, said: “The TG165 offers important benefits versus single spot digital readout IR thermometers commonly used in this market. This innovative, easy-to-use product will help our customers work more effectively, efficiently and with greater accuracy and safety. We are very pleased to have a close relationship with FLIR, with their innovative and market leading products aligning well with our desire to offer customers the most exciting industrial and engineering technology.”
