Tixi.Com and Arkessa partner to provide connectivity for remote monitoring of PLC and fieldbus devices  

Arkessa has signed a strategic agreement with Tixi.Com, the M2M and smart metering gateway specialists, with the aim of providing best-in-class connectivity for remote monitoring of PLC and fieldbus devices.

Arkessa and Tixi.Com agreed to offer best customer experience and highly reliable device connectivity for national and international deployed devices. Tixi is specialised in SPS protocol conversion for global brands like Siemens, Moeller, ABB, Mitsubishi, VIPA, Allen-Bradley, monitoring metering devices with M-Bus and S0 interfaces.

Martin Böttner, Arkessa’s VP of Sales for DACH said, “Arkessa provides a leading connectivity platform and offers access to over 540 cellular networks in more than 190 countries through secured connections.”

“The platform significantly lowers installation headaches and configuration time and offers excellent M2M tariffs and support” said Robert Lipinsky, head of Sales for Tixi.Com.

Tixi.Com GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 1998, operates on an international level as a manufacturer of intelligent telecommunication devices for industrial electronics, mainly automation technology and energy management, e.g. for remote meter readouts (smart metering). Tixi.Com appliances support more than 30 SPS and OEM protocols for local communication and provide a fault indication unit, data loggers, and embedded web servers for telecommunication via LTE, GSM/GPRS, Ethernet and WLAN.
