Novotech recruits Cosentino as new sales director

Joe Cosentino, sales director at Novotech Technologies

Novotech Technologies, a distributor of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) / Internet of Things (IoT) products, services and solutions, has appointed Joe Cosentino to the position of sales director, effective April 11, 2016.

Cosentino is new to Novotech, but not new to the cellular industry. With 20 years of wireless experience involving roles and responsibilities in sales, marketing, business development and management at several companies, Cosentino is a natural fit for Novotech’s growing sales team. In his new role at Novotech, Cosentino will identify market needs and new M2M and IoT opportunities throughout Canada.

“I couldn’t be more pleased with this announcement,” said Larry Bellehumeur, EVP of Sales and Marketing for the company. “Joe brings incredible knowledge and expertise to Novotech,” said Bellehumeur. “His experience in the industry will support Novotech’s commitment to grow its customer base through knowledgeable salespeople who are smart, flexible and friendly.”

For the past eight years in his role as Canadian sales manager at Sierra Wireless, Cosentino directed and grew Canada as a territory while also building an IoT-centric reseller/dealer channel for its AirLink Division. Prior to that, he spent three years selling comprehensive AVL solutions for Fleet Freedom.

“During my 20 years in cellular, it has been a long time since I have seen the kind growth and opportunity that exists today in the IoT space,” said Joe Cosentino. “Novotech has always been a leader for the many ways it delivers IoT products and solutions to this market.

I truly look forward to being part of such a strong, dedicated and accomplished group.” More details about Cosentino, including his contact information, can be found in his LinkedIn Profile.
