PayByPhone, a global providr of mobile parking payments, has partnered with ParkBee, one of the digital car park operators, to offer its cashless parking services in 17 locations primarily across Greater London from 2 August 2021.
Adam Dolphin, UK sales director for PayByPhone says, “Like PayByPhone, ParkBee is a business that uses technology to simplify the parking experience for its users, and we are delighted to be collaborating with them.”
ParkBee aims to make use of under-utilised and off-street parking spaces in urban areas, minimising the need for new ones and alleviating the pressure on cities.
“Helping to protect the environment is a key driver for PayByPhone, and ParkBee’s mission to make better use of space in cities, and to help create a sustainable environment is very much aligned with our own environmental agenda and initiatives,” continues Dolphin.
When parking at a ParkBee location, drivers use the PayByPhone app in the usual way, inputting the location code and following the instructions. Sessions can be extended from anywhere, in accordance with the location’s terms and conditions.
Angelique de Rauville, UK managing director of ParkBee, says, “We are excited to be working with PayByPhone to extend the range of services we offer drivers in the UK even further. This is another step towards our goal of challenging the traditional mobility industry by transforming every-day parking locations into efficient mobility and transport hubs.”
