Arduino has announced new offices in United States to support the company’s region of business.
Arduino has been operating in the U.S. for more than 15 years, and more than half of the company’s total solutions are delivered to American customers. As a testament to Arduino’s enduring success, its avid user base, now occupying high-level engineering and development positions, is increasingly turning to Arduino for enterprise-grade solutions.
The move to build out the U.S. operations and team marks the step in Arduino’s expansion into the enterprise world. Last year, the company closed a $32 million (€29.60 million) Series B funding round led by the global tech investor Robert Bosch Venture Capital. Renesas, Anzu Partners and Arm also joined the round to help Arduino continue its mission to eliminate the barriers of moving from prototyping to production and remove the vendor lock-in issues hindering digital transformation in industrial applications with its Arduino PRO ecosystem.
Guneet Bedi, a technology industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, will lead the U.S. division as senior vice president and general manager of Americas. New sales, marketing, and operations teams in Austin and Chicago will support the fast-growing demand for Arduino PRO products in manufacturing, transportation, city operations and higher education.
With over 1,000 enterprise customers already on board, the Arduino PRO line has experienced remarkable year-over-year growth: Sales have doubled each year since its introduction in 2020. U.S. companies have been a significant contributor to this growth, accounting for 39% of Arduino PRO sales. Over one-third (34%) of Arduino PRO customers live in the United States.
