Krakow, Poland & Vienna, Austria – Comarch, a global software house and system integrator has just completed the implementation of its Comarch M2M Platform for Telekom Austria Group, the leading communications provider in Central and Eastern Europe. The Comarch M2M Platform is the core of Telekom Austria Group’s M2M SIMplify Platform.

The Comarch M2M Platform enables Telekom Austria Group to offer machine-to-machine (M2M) services internationally by supporting multiple tenants, currencies and languages. It allows Telekom Austria Group, its partners and customers to efficiently manage and improve their businesses.

M2M supports business processes with the help of configurable dashboards. M2M data session control, convergent billing and feeding information to dashboards are conducted in real-time, ensuring high level control of M2M services. The modular solution will eventually enable Telekom Austria Group to extend its offering to voice and cloud services, M2M application enablement and device management.

The solution is run according to the managed services model, which includes hosting, operations and support. In addition, Telekom Austria Group retains full ownership and control of the platform.

“At Telekom Austria Group M2M, we work with international partners who are leaders in their respective industries and expect the highest quality of M2M services. We want our M2M SIMplify platform to serve all the important players in the M2M value chain and meet the demands of a dynamic environment. We chose Comarch because their M2M platform perfectly matched our requirements. It enables us to deliver superior customer experience and open up new revenue streams for our company,” says Phat Huynh, managing director, Telekom Austria Group M2M.

“Comarch has been offering the M2M Platform for over two years now, and we have always been confident that the product is perfectly designed to fit the requirements of operators specialising in M2M. I am positive that the platform will not only significantly lower Telekom Austria Group’s operational costs given the managed services model, but it will also greatly improve productivity due to a high degree of process automation and out-of-the-box features. As a result, it will enable Telekom Austria Group to run a successful and efficient M2M business,” says Piotr Piatosa, vice president and member of the Board at Comarch.
