Sprint and Sensorlogic team up to fast track M2M initiatives

Sensorlogic is teaming with Sprint to give enterprise customers faster and smarter ways to build and deploy M2M applications and managed services.

The collaboration will let Sprint’s customers use its global network infrastructure in combination with Sensorlogic’s application enablement platform to fast track enterprise M2M initiatives. Sensorlogic has joined the Sprint developer programme.

The two companies will jointly promote their respective offerings to meet the rapidly growing and evolving market for M2M services.

“The purpose of Sprint’s developer programme is to accelerate and simplify our customers’ application and connectivity initiatives,” said Wayne Ward, vice-president of Sprint’s emerging products group.

“Sensorlogic is a welcome addition to the programme, and will have an immediate impact with customers whose strategies involve using M2M technologies to improve operations and increase revenue.”

With more than 12 years of experience with M2M, Sprint has been at the forefront of this wireless technology, teaming with and supporting a large and diverse portfolio of partners to create smarter wireless products. Sprint and its partners have already brought to market a wide array of products that feature a host of devices running on its network.

“Sprint has made significant investments in its M2M infrastructure and will play a key role in connecting millions of devices worldwide,” said Michael Campbell, president and CEO of Sensorlogic. “Our platform of purpose-built application services in the cloud will help Sprint’s customers do this faster and better than any alternative in the market.

“This partnership lets customers focus on their core business because they are leveraging our combined infrastructure for network and application service enablement.”
