GreenPocket launches smart home software with integrated light management

Platform-independent smart home provider, GreenPocket, has launched new features for its smart home software. These include individual light management based on the OSRAM Lightify, a twilight function as well as the watt-based control of devices.

As an extension of its smart home software, which is, among others, compatible with the QIVICON platform of Deutsche Telekom, GreenPocket offers smart home users the possibility of perfect light management in their own home.

The software can recognise which family member has entered the house by the color of the living room lamp due to intelligent rules. Smart home users can be easily informed through colored lights in case of self-defined events.

GreenPocket’s smart home software can also perform arduous routine tasks, such as closing the shutters or switching off the lights, automatically with the new twilight function based on the astronomical calendar.

Also new and extremely helpful is the watt-based control of devices, which enables its users to switch off devices automatically. Due to innovative and intuitive operation processes, the software can also be notified via smartphone within a few seconds, as soon as the washing machine has finished the cleaning process and without having to turn it off manually.

The Responsive Design allows GreenPocket smart home users to use the software on all devices (smartphone, tablet, desktop PC) with the same comfort. Therefore, with only a few clicks, the own home can easily be controlled. Highly flexible rules and automations enable the establishment of numerous and diverse scenarios, e.g. to regulate the heating automatically as soon as a family member is on its way home (presence detection via geofencing).

GreenPocket focuses mainly on utilities, telecommunication companies, appliance vendors, electronic retailers and security companies, enabling them to create their own functionalities and design with the white label solution of GreenPocket’s smart home software as well as selecting the fitting hardware.
