Eurotech wins best application of IoT award at IDTechEx in Santa Clara

Eurotech has received the award for the best application of IoT from IDTechEX, for the application it provided to Ariston Thermo Group.

The award from IDTechEx is said to be a recognition of the innovation, completeness and value generated by the solution offered by Eurotech to Ariston Thermo Group, which includes the software platform ESF, Everyware Cloud and a set of web and mobile applications that allow the real time connection among the appliances installed, which are geographically distributed, and all the stakeholders involved in the process.

The benefits of the solution proposed by Eurotech – as per the nomination presented by Red Hat – relate to three different types of users:

  • For the end customer, the ability to remotely control their appliances and receive alerts and notifications from them in real time
  • For operators providing the technical support, the ability to diagnose and reconfigure appliances, hence providing a high level of preventive maintenance and avoiding blockages and annoying failures of the equipment
  • For Ariston Thermo Group, an effective and efficient implementation of marketing policies and strategic investments in the design and development of new generations of products.

Launched in 1999, IDTechEx is an independent provider of market research, business intelligence and events on emerging technology. The award was presented to the entrant who has successfully used IoT technology to solve a real problem and generate significant value for the user.
