AMIHO Technology launches LoRa and Wireless M-Bus module at 169 MHz for the smart meter and Smart City markets.

AMIHO Technology, experts in wireless communications, announced the launch of their latest wireless communication product, the AM091, combining LoRa® and Wireless Meter-Bus capability at 169 MHz to create an exceptionally long range radio, with a fully-controllable power output up to +28.5dBm. The latest module delivers their highest performance, neatly contained in their compact standard footprint (17.8 x 20.3 mm), is pre-loaded with AMIHO’s fully-featured software stack and drivers and designed to be ready for production.

“We aim to make life easier for our customers and help them get their new product to market quickly and efficiently,” explains managing director David Blumstein. “Our radio modules have everything you need to get your smart meter or other device communicating easily and our intelligent use of LoRa® technology extends the radio range dramatically. We take care of the wireless side so your developers are able to get on with their application.”

The AM091 module will be showcased at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, 22-25 Feb at the Lora Alliance stand Hall 8 stand A10MR.
