Memphis, Tennessee, USA – American Roamer, a leading source for geospatial network intelligence, has unveiled a new company name, Mosaik Solutions, and forged an alliance with Europa Technologies to extend its mobile coverage intelligence solutions worldwide.

The launch of the new brand is the culmination of efforts over the past several years as the company expanded its scale, capabilities, talent and clientele globally. A company spokesperson said that the new name will “better reflect the company’s position as the leading source for coverage solutions for the global network ecosystem.”

Mosaik Solutions reportedly maintains the largest mobile network coverage catalogue in the world, including all common mobile technologies. In order to provide its clients with the most current intelligence available, the global coverage catalogue is evaluated and updated each quarter.

The company also provides telecommunications coverage patterns, wireless spectrum depth, network configurations, and licensing data. Mosaik Solutions’ geospatial, analytical, creative and web solutions are tailored to meet each client’s needs, and they help clients acquire and retain customers, make sound business decisions and execute with a solid information base.

With more than 20 years of experience in the geospatial network intelligence industry, Mosaik Solutions has a team of graphic designers, computer scientists, GIS specialists and telecoms industry experts. The company works with large clients such as Verizon, Time Warner, On-Star and Comcast, while supporting the needs of smaller companies as well. The company reports that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has recognised Mosaik Solutions as the best available choice for wireless coverage intelligence in the United States.

“Mosaik Solutions has grown well beyond America – it is global. Our capabilities are beyond mobile and roaming – we have intelligence solutions for the entire network ecosystem,” said Bryan Darr (pictured), CEO, Mosaik Solutions. “As a company that provides the most robust, creative and technical solutions on the market, we wanted a name that clearly conveyed who we are and what we provide. We take disparate pieces of intelligence and create elegant solutions to help clients manage customer expectations and empower them to make better strategic and tactical business decisions.”

Mosaik Solutions has also formed a new alliance with Europa Technologies, licensing the UK-based company to distribute its Global Coverage Analyzer and CellMaps services.

Europa uses Mosaik Solutions’ coverage tiling application programming interface (Tiling API) to efficiently access the mobile coverage catalogue, which showcases global LTE, HSPA, EVDO, and WIMAX footprints.

The partnership with Europa Technologies reaffirms the quality and accessibility of Mosaik Solutions’ worldwide network coverage catalogue, extending the reach of its capabilities through a new distribution channel. Additionally, Mosaik has integrated Europa’s Global Insight vector data product into Mosaik’s global base map found in CellMaps, Global Coverage Analyzer and MapELEMENTS.

“Our partnership with Europa Technologies is yet another example of our commitment to global expansion by ensuring new segments have access to our robust, technical and elegant solutions,” said Bryan Darr, CEO, Mosaik Solutions. “This relationship is a concrete example of our confidence in Europa’s base map data and their confidence in our solutions and global coverage catalogue.”
