“Its easy set up wizard, bundled antenna, power supply and Ethernet cable, make installation a snap,” said Alex Romero-Perez, product manager at MultiTech. “With FCC, IC, PTCRB and carrier certifications, the MultiConnect eCell reduces time to market as well as cost, so users can deploy their solution fast. We are pleased to offer this functionality to the Canadian market.”

Other examples of devices that can benefit from using the MultiConnect eCell are vending machines, kiosks, digital signs, ATM machines and countless other fixed assets that require a reliable, always-on connectivity without disrupting a Local Area Network.

“This product addresses a real need for simple, out-of-box cellular connectivity for applications that have their own built in intelligence,” said Larry Bellehumeur, executive vice president of Sales for Novotech.

“It is a great compliment to the top-selling MultiConnect rCell, which comes with advanced routing and security functionality as well as DeviceHQ device management software. With both products in our portfolio, MultiTech has provided us with a very compelling offer here in Canada.”
