Standards will be a key topic at Cloud Expo Europe, Germany’s largest cloud event, and Ultan Mulligan, Marketing and Communications Committee vice chairman at oneM2M and director of Communications at ETSI, will reveal details of oneM2M’s progress since its second set of specifications (Release 2) was announced. Release 2 introduced 14 additional specifications for the expansion of IoT inter connectivity, including ones addressing security and semantic interoperability, across sectors including healthcare, smart homes and smart cities, and automotive.
Cloud Expo Europe will take place at Messe Frankfurt, from Wednesday, November 23 to Thursday, November 24, and will host more than 200 providers and 200 speakers.
The session is titled oneM2M: Building a secure, interoperable Internet of Things and will outline future technological developments through the creation of a scalable platform while ensuring there is a reliable network of connected devices.
