1. As a child what job did you want to have when you grew up?
I really wanted to be a stuntman, movie magic intrigued me (now I practice and teach a martial art, Choi Kwang Do). Being an astronaut overtook that ambition as I got older and is still achievable!
2. If you had one business lesson to share with your younger self what would it be?
Not everyone is able to see the obvious, nor is willing to move towards it.
3. Which Internet of Things (IoT) use case has recently fired your imagination?
Augmented Reality headsets are fantastic. I riff on the future of AR in my sci-fi adventure novels, as well as part of my factual research agenda.
4. What lessons have you learned from doing business in other countries or organisations?
A strong online identity and lineage cuts through most barriers and silos. “Hey, I am @epredator look me up,” works well to start conversations. With the internet, everywhere is local, but you still have to be culturally sensitive.
