Cherif Sleiman, VP Europe, Middle East and Africa at Infoblox finds there is one universal business language.
- As a child what job did you want to have when you grew up?
I wanted to be an Air Force Pilot. I always had a fascination with that.
- If you had one business lesson to share with your younger self what would it be?
We can speculate until the cows come home…Making 5 decisions where 2 are wrong is better than not making any.
- Which Internet of Things (IoT) use case has recently fired your imagination?
Imagine an irrigation system driven by an IoT controller that measures weather elements such as temperature, humidity, etc. and can adjust the frequency and amount of water it supplies. Well, you do not have to imagine it… it is real.
- What lessons have you learned from doing business in other countries or organisations?
I have learned that despite the diversity in business etiquette, cultural norms and business approaches, there is one universal business language verbalised through integrity, transparency and teaming.
