Tracker invests in M2M technology for tailored tariffs and management control

Tracker has joined forces with Wireless Logic, an M2M managed services specialist, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of its product range.Through its partnership with Wireless Logic, Tracker will benefit from a tailored suite of mobile connectivity services providing specialist M2M SIMs from multiple networks.

Tracker’s partnership with Wireless Logic is another example of its on-going investment in technology, which will drive forward the development of its award-winning products.

Oliver Tucker, managing director for the Wireless Logic Group, said: “Wireless Logic brings to the table a growing choice of connectivity solutions which will deliver new levels of flexibility for Tracker’s solutions, as well as tailored tariffs and management control.

“Additionally, Tracker will have access to our multi-network private APNs. This will significantly decrease capital expenditure on infrastructure, and will be supported by our dedicated account team which will manage Tracker’s on-going connectivity requirements.”

Tracker’s SVR and fleet telematic solutions will be further enhanced by Wireless Logic’s ‘SIMpro3′ platform-as-a-service (PaaS) enabling provisioning, monitoring and complete real-time visibility across its growing SIM estate.

The move to Wireless Logic, which has established a ‘one-stop-source’ for managed connectivity, is central to the constant advancement of Tracker Fleet, its re-engineered fleet tracking solution and more recently the launch of its Mesh Network, which acts as listening device to identify stolen vehicles.

Relaunched in 2011, Tracker Fleet detects accurate idling readings and monitor driver performance offering layers of information about the vehicle and driver.

“This new strategic partnership with Wireless Logic gives Tracker unrivalled specialist support across the entire spectrum of M2M connectivity and related managed services,” said says Stephen Doran, managing director of Tracker. “Our entire SIM estate will now be enhanced by greater visibility, giving us new levels of control, provisioning and tariff management.”
