Intelligent Packaging by Stora Enso integrates widely adopted RFID (Radio frequency identification) technology which enables the product to be tracked, traced and tamper-proofed throughout the entire supply chain. Moreover, the technology allows communication between the brand-owner and the end-user using an NFC (Near Field Communication)-enabled smartphone.
