Chinese IIoT platform provider launches into European market

IROOTECH, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform provider in China, has announced plans to enter the European market with the global IIoT platform ROOTCLOUD. IROOTECH, a spin-off of Sany Group which is one of the leading construction machinery companies in the world, was founded in 2016.

As of 2017, more than 400,000 high-value equipment, covering 42 industry verticals, were connected to the ROOTCLOUD IIoT platform, representing a total asset value of hundreds of billions of Euros. “The platform is like a mega-brain that connects countless machines, gathering all kinds of information, and provides optimised decisions based on the database, in a way the human brain cannot achieve.” said, Daniel He, CEO of IROOTECH. “We look forward to partnering with our customers to develop standard and customised solutions, which will enable their business development and innovation.”

ROOTCLOUD will empower its customers to use their machine data easier and efficiently, helping them to save millions of Euros annually. With extensive know-how big data, artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual reality, ROOTCLOUD delivers products and service in the most secure and compliant way.

Putzmeister, a famous German manufacturer of concrete pumps, has become the first customer for IROOTECH in Europe. “The ROOTCLOUD based Machine Cockpit enables Putzmeister customers to get the best performance from their concrete pump fleet via a variety of features.” said, Sebastian Fuhrich, Putzmeister innovation factory Lead.

The success of the industrial internet depends on a collaborative ecosystem of partners. On April 24th, IROOTECH will sign the cooperation contracts with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud service, with Telenor for telecom service. “IROOTECH believes that a local collaborative ecosystem will provide its customers with the best service experience” said, Luchuan Huang, CMO of IROOTECH.

Clearly, with the global trends toward revitalising manufacturing, how to succeed in digitally transforming of the manufacturing industry has been elevated to one of the top national priorities for many countries. Leveraging its own best IIoT practices and ecosystem, IROOTECH aims to build an open, shared, cooperative and win-win IIoT platform globally.
