NuPhysicia completes alliance agreement with Harris CapRock for remote telemedicine technology

Houston, Texas, USA (BUSINESS WIRE) — NuPhysicia and Harris CapRock Communications have formed an alliance that creates a standardised and optimised telemedicine technology for customers across the energy, government and maritime markets.

NuPhysicia’s InPlace Medical Solutions is a telemedicine-based offshore and remote medical service that offers customers unparalleled medical access and quality health care through an effective telemedicine physician presence at a site. As part of the alliance agreement, Harris CapRock tested and certified the NuPhysicia telemedicine solution on its global network infrastructure. As customers’ communications requirements evolve, Harris CapRock will be able to build the NuPhysicia technology into its communications solution design and optimise the network to support the telemedicine application.

“We are responding to requests to bring a combined solution to remote sites that provides top-quality telecommunications with health services to support the best care and morale for workers,” said Dr. Glenn Hammack, CEO of NuPhysicia. “Harris CapRock has a global leadership position in providing fully managed communications to remote locations, and our telemedicine solution complements their portfolio of products and services. Together, our ability to deliver a proven and certified configuration for telemedicine and telecommunications services means customers can make the best choice for medical services without concerns about site bandwidth configurations, loads or service integration. This alliance creates a remarkable offering – combining Harris CapRock’s recognised global telecommunications expertise with our advanced telemedicine-based site medical services.”
