Elbrys and Mindbloom showcase integrating mobile health applications and M2M health device services

Elbrys has announced collaboration with interactive health application leader Mindbloom to offer powerful user experiences that integrate with third party devices and metric centered data services.

Using Elbrys’ Common Senses Gateway Mindbloom applications can connect to wireless pedometers, weight scales and blood pressure monitors through a single API. The companies will demonstrate the power of the integrated technologies at the at the 2012 mHealth Summit in Washington D.C. in the Games for Health pavilion.

“The technologies underlying wearable sensors that measure physical activity, sleep and other biometric information have come a long way and we see a massive opportunity to integrate this data into our industry-leading offerings,” said Brent Poole, CEO of Mindbloom . “Elbrys has done the hard work in integrating and normalising data from popular biometric devices, as well as the more condition specific monitoring devices, and provides access to that data through a single API.”

CommonSenses supports Continua Certified™ and ANT+ compliant software, Standards-based IEEE 11073-20601 medical device support and Personal Area Network supporting – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ANT+

Elbrys is demonstrating how its standards-based M2M Gateway Services provides a universal aggregation node for millions of users and sensor data connected to the health and wellness Internet. CommonSenses enables gamification mechanics and entertainment experiences connected to medical devices, fitness sensors, informatics systems, and wellness applications.
