Eurotech and ThingWorx partner to enable rapid M2M solution delivery

Eurotech

ThingWorx™ announced a strategic partnership with Eurotech. The partnership includes ThingWorx’s certification of the Eurotech Everyware Cloud and Multi-Service Gateways as ThingWorx Ready™, creating a pre-integrated offering that simplifies development and reduces the cost of deployment of M2M solutions.

The recently launched ThingWorx Ready Program allows hardware and software companies to pre-integrate their products with the ThingWorx rapid application development platform—the industry’s first application development platform designed to reduce the effort required to build M2M solutions and Internet of Things (IoT) applications for the emerging connected world.

Being “plug-and-play” reduces the cost and risk of wireless and networked deployments for customers, helping accelerate the growth of the overall space.

“Eurotech’s focus has always been on simplifying computing and communications for our customers to help them be more competitive in their market. As the Internet of Things becomes more prevalent, we see the ThingWorx platform extending that simplicity even further, by giving users the power to quickly and intuitively create IoT applications and mash-ups,” explained Greg Nicoloso, CEO of Eurotech in North America.

“By integrating ThingWorx with the Eurotech Everyware Cloud and our Multi-Service Gateways, enterprises have access to a full M2M solution, from the device to the cloud and into the enterprise application. We look forward to encouraging and enabling M2M and IoT growth through this partnership with ThingWorx.”

Eurotech’s certification as ThingWorx Ready creates a pre-integrated solution that includes Eurotech’s Everyware Cloud, an M2M integration platform that provides the glue between Multi-Service Gateways and the ThingWorx application development platform.

This integrated offering enables customers to rapidly build applications and make business decisions based on data coming from the intelligence at the edge of the network. More than 25 of Eurotech’s multi-service gateways are Everyware Cloud-ready and ThingWorx Ready for customer flexibility. This benefits customers by enabling simplified application development and flexibility in communications options (3G, GSM, GPS, WiFi, and other common interfaces) to fit into any sensor environment.

“We are pleased to partner with Eurotech to help certify its Everyware Cloud and Multi-service gateways as ThingWorx Ready,” said Russ Fadel, CEO and Co-Founder of ThingWorx.

“Having Eurotech’s suite of offerings pre-integrated into the ThingWorx platform will dramatically reduce the time and risk for companies looking to build and deploy end-to-end M2M and IoT solutions. Reducing time, cost, and risk will accelerate the growth of connected applications moving us more quickly to the step change in efficiency promised by the connected world.”
