Cyan, the integrated system and software design company that delivers mesh based flexible wireless solutions for utility metering and lighting control, announced that one of its strategic meter manufacturer partners has deployed a pilot with a large public utility in the north of India demonstrating CyLec®, Cyan’s smart electricity metering technology.
This is the first time Cyan’s solution has been deployed with this utility.
The utility, a regional government undertaking, undertakes the power distribution and retail supply business in the northern parts of the state.
It services approximately 2 million domestic and over 300,000 non-domestic/light industrial customers in 11 districts under their jurisdiction.
