Sasken Technologies joins Qualcomm IoT Accelerator Program for IoT advancements

Sasken Technologies announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies Inc. through the Qualcomm IoT Accelerator Program. This move aims to bring a change in the Internet of Things (IoT) landscape.

“Joining this program with Qualcomm Technologies holds immense promise and opens exciting possibilities for both companies. We are eager to contribute to the growth of the IoT ecosystem,” said Abhijit Kabra, CEO at Sasken Technologies. “By combining Sasken’s deep expertise in IoT solutions with industry-leading innovations from Qualcomm Technologies, we are poised to create transformative solutions that will drive meaningful change across sectors.”

“The Qualcomm IoT Accelerator Program is designed to create a robust ecosystem of connected IoT devices, driven by collaborations that can transform industries, business models, and experiences,” stated Atul Suri, VP, strategy and analysis, global head of business development and partnerships, Qualcomm Technologies. “This collaboration will leverage Sasken’s extensive experience in IoT product engineering, combined with Qualcomm Technologies’ advanced offerings, to accelerate the creation of robust, security-rich, and efficient IoT solutions.”

The Qualcomm IoT Accelerator Program has been designed to propel the business success of the ecosystem engaged in transforming industries, business models, and experiences with Qualcomm-fueled intelligence, computing, and connectivity at the network edge. It unites embedded hardware designers, independent software vendors, independent hardware component vendors, system integrators, and ODMs that are equipped to accelerate digital transformation with solutions based on Qualcomm technologies. 

Qualcomm IoT Accelerator membership increases exposure to opportunities, delivers business insights, and delivers faster time to commercialization, hardware, and design services. It also delivers broad expertise in design services and integration of Qualcomm technologies into customer products. Customers can reduce complexity and speed commercialization through member offerings including off-the-shelf modules and application-specific reference designs designed to meet vertical industry standards.

This collaboration aims to address the challenges faced by various industries in their IoT endeavours, such as achieving seamless integration, scalability, and security. By leveraging Sasken’s end-to-end IoT capabilities and Qualcomm Technologies’ wireless technologies, the collaboration is trying to empower businesses with ‘innovative’ solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and growth.
