SAP SE has acquired the Internet of Things (IoT) platform vendor PLAT.ONE for an undisclosed sum. The news comes as SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) announced investment plans of €2 billion over the next five years. 

At the FT-ETNO Summit held in Brussels, Huawei executive director and Products & Solutions president Ryan Ding said, “5G will be one of the cornerstones of industry digitalisation. A single global standard is vital.”

Huawei has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation with ABB, a global leader in power and automation technologies.
